Somatic Experiencing® Professional Training
The Somatic Experiencing® (“SE™”) Professional Training provides a rich theoretical framework for understanding and addressing trauma physiology.

Jeanna Gomez owner of GCCS and faculty member for Somatic Experiencing International (SEI) offers the first two years of this training in various locations, including here in Texas. This SE educational model is highly experiential, offering you tangible skills that can be immediately integrated into your professional practice. Learn how SE, a body-oriented approach, is helping tens of thousands of people resolve trauma and other stress responses. The training is delivered through a combination of lectures, live demonstrations, guided practice sessions with fellow students, audio visual case studies, and suggested readings. Because competent practice of SE requires direct practitioner experience, as well as a refined somatic awareness and capacity for self-regulation, becoming an SE Practitioner (SEP™) also entails receiving personal SE sessions and professional consultation to deepen your experiential knowledge of SE. The three-year SE Professional Training is open to social workers, medical or mental health professionals, addictions counselors, first responders, bodyworkers, personal coaches, educators, alternative medicine practitioners, and other helping professionals. Registration for these trainings in done through SEI and you will need to register using the links below.
If you are already an SE student and looking to schedule for a group consultation and/or individual case consultation with Jeanna please go to those pages.
