Somatic Experiencing® (SE) Live Demonstration Workshops
The SE Demonstration workshop day is a great opportunity for SE students and SEP’s to broaden their knowledge of SE and for practitioners who are interested in SE but would like to experience how it works. During this workshop, Jeanna Gomez, LCSW, LADAC, CPC, SEP SEI Faculty will offer live sessions with participants in two potential ways.
- You as an SE student or SEP wanting to work on a traumatic/stressful situation you experienced.
- You the SE student or SEP, invites an individual client or couple you are currently treating who agrees to participate in the demonstration, with you being the observer and learning alongside Jeanna. After this type of demonstration, we will have time to process through your observations as the attending clinician and receive recommendations on how to proceed with your client. Note: The client would only be present for their particular allotted demo time. You will be their familiar anchor.
Time will be allotted for Q&A from participants throughout the day. There will be time for 4-5 demonstrations.
These workshops will be valuable to increase your framework of the elements that go into a session and allow you to observe multiple-choice points that emerge during SE sessions. Demonstration days are reportedly some of our student’s and SEP’s favorite ways to learn.
When: Saturday January 31, 2026
Time: 10am-5:30pm CST, with a 1-hour lunch break
Cost: $185 in person

Who is this for: SEP’s and SE students of all Levels. Practitioners curious about how SE works, who want to observe and learn more.
Location: Sol Healing and Wellness Center 13805 Ann Place Austin, TX (This is an in person, live workshop)
NOTE: An on line option will be offered at registration.
Credits: SE students will receive 2 credits towards group case consultation requirements
The schedule is subject to change with Jeanna’s schedule. Should a schedule change be made for these reasons after you have registered, you will be notified with enough advance notice and allowed to change to another date or provided with a refund.
Registration closes one week (7 days) before the Live Demonstration workshop. We are unable to accept registrations after this time.

Volunteering to do the Live Demo, things to know:
Many people may choose to observe the workshop demonstrations and we need volunteers for the demonstration. I welcome you as a participant to submit a demonstration request form to work with me. Likewise, if you have a client that you are working with who is willing to volunteer you would invite them to submit the demonstration request form. I would arrange a phone call with you as the practitioner ahead of time to discuss the client before demo day. All people who volunteer for the demo should be comfortable with knowing they will be in the front of the room. As a reminder, due to confidentiality reasons, there will be no recordings.

The form needs to be completed no later than two weeks before the Live Demo. Jeanna will review the requests, and if your submission is chosen, we will be in touch with further information.
